We are a cycling club. We are made up of many types of people.
As fans of cycling, many of us are fans of all aspects. We enjoy riding (many enjoy several types of riding) or even just the thought riding. Many also enjoy spectating.
I, myself, have been a specator of racing for many years, both local and on TV (Tour “Day” France).
There’s a lot you can learn by watching, and even more you can learn by talking to those who race or have raced.
We are fortunate to have a visual “Xplanation” of one of the many types of racing - Criteriums- from Chris, a cycling enthusiast, who has raced.

The timing is great, because the Gateway Cup is next weekend - in Our own backyard! This is a wonderful event and gives opportunity to watch racing, of many ability levels, over several days in several great locations. (go to http://www.gatewaycup.com for more info, if you want).

If you don’t like watching people ride/race, that’s cool…. This info is for those who do and want to learn more about it. :)
