Bike Schwag: Post 3
In the spirit of more cool, hipster, mainstream products here’s another company churning out stuff I’d like to spend too much money on. And in a fashion (no pun intended) I can admire–they recycle!
If you know of any marginally bike-related products you think more people ought to know about, email me. By the same token, if you’ve purchased any of these products and would like to review it/them, I’d also like to hear/write about it. So, yeah, let me know about that, too.

I’m looking for a bag that makes commuting with my laptop more tolerable. Eight miles each way. Current msg bag ends up putting too much pressure on my left shoulder.

Hey Syd~
Patagonia makes a messenger bag that looks pretty good~ you might want to give them a look. I don’t bike commute but I have some of their bags and I think they make some well~made, very well~thought~out bags.
Cheers!

Syd,
If you haven’t already heard of Chrome bags then you should check them out. All of their bags are designed for cyclists. I guess the only downfall is they are a little pricey, but they do last a long time.
Here’s their website…

I actually have a chrome bag. A big blue one. I really like it but with my laptop and stuff I usually have about 25lbs and it’s just too much. Spreading the weight between both shoulders seems to be better at moment.

Sydney,
Yeah, I was thinking something like the Chrome Messenger Pack. It has 2 double padded straps plus a soft back.

Also, why does it keep showing up that I’m anonymous? I do I change that?
Thanks!
